JBIT is the premier organization for technology in education, “Providing leadership and service to improve teaching and learning by advancing the effective use of technology in education”.

The major objective of the JB Insitute of Technology, Dehradun, Uttarakhand is to assist and contribute in the production and development of top quality professional engineers and technicians needed by the industries and other organizations. JB Institute of Technology is involved in coordinating various quality improvement programmes and organizing summer/winter school programmes for teachers and students.

Various Clubs have been organized in JBIT with an aim to build self esteem, self worth, elegance, grace, strength and intellect.

This club is a major center of attraction especially during cricket matches with the perfect ambience and sound system which makes watching cricket matches a really wonderful experience. A rink just outside the students club an ideal place for celebration of various festival during college fest.

The Entrepreneurship Club at JBIT with the vision to create a selling point for aspiring entrepreneurs at the institute. The club’s mission is to educate the students about the business and entrepreneurship and to prepare them to undertake the journey of innovative ideas and its successful implementation in the business.

The Club regularly hosts guest lectures by distinguished personalities from the industry and academia, in addition to organizing various business and marketing competitions throughout the year.

This section has been bringing the range of melodies from Indian classical to Western hard rock. It is the section which has been staging plays of unbeatable standard since its inception and is known for its discipline and order Painting & Art Exhibition

The Literary Club aims at not only refining the literary skills of the students but also developing in them logic and curiosity to know more and to instill in them a confidence to speak well. Competitions of various kinds are held to enhance their talents. The club holds Extempore Speech Contest, which helps them to deepen their power to think and broaden their vocabulary, at the same time exposes them to a set of audience necessary for the growth of confidence in them.

Corporate Social Responsibility has always been an integral part of us. In a view to contribute its share towards the society, the management of has undertaken several initiatives towards the benefit of the Society at large under different intiatives.

A LAN Gaming Center has been established where Students can use computer connected over a LAN to other computers, primarily for the purpose of getting inside knowledge of the computer networks and security challenges.
