Overview of the Course
D.Pharm is a two-year diploma serving as the minimum qualification to be a registered pharmacist. It focuses on the practical aspects of dispensing medicines and managing a pharmacy store. Subjects include Pharmaceutics and Biochemistry. It prepares students for immediate employment in retail or hospital pharmacies.
Career Opportunities
D.Pharm graduates primarily work as Pharmacists in medical stores and hospitals. They can open their own Chemist Shops with a valid license.
They also work as Medical Representatives for pharma companies. It is a quick route to a stable career in the healthcare delivery system.
