Overview of the Course

This three-year Diploma focuses on the operation and maintenance of machines. It covers Workshop Technology, Thermal Engineering, and Industrial Management. Students spend hours in labs dealing with lathes, milling machines, and engines. The course provides a functional understanding of how machines are built and kept running. It includes training in AutoCAD and CNC machine operation, ensuring graduates are modern and employable. It is suited for students who want a hands-on technical career.

Career Opportunities

Graduates are in high demand as Supervisors and Technicians in the Automobile and Manufacturing sectors. They work on the shop floor managing production lines. Roles include Maintenance Engineer, Quality Control Inspector, and Tool Room Assistant.

Public Sector Units (PSUs) and Indian Railways recruit Diploma holders as Loco Pilots and Technicians. They also find opportunities in HVAC maintenance and Sales and Service for machinery. Many start their own workshops or small manufacturing units.
