The national eligibility cum entrance test NEET Exam was earlier called the All India Pre-medical Test (AIPMT). Supreme Court rejected plea regarding postponement of premier NEET Examinations.
This prestigious exam is scheduled to be held in the month of September NEET 2020 Exam Date is 13 Sept 2020. The NEET exam is an abbreviation for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, it is a competitive entrance exam in India conducted by NTA National Testing Agency.
This exam is sometimes called as NEET UG exam for admission to medical courses such as MBBS and BDS. The result of this medical competitive examination is handed over to the Directorate General of Health Services and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
Earlier just like CAT exam, the NEET exam was also conducted by the US Prometric agency. The level of competition in this exam can be equated to the fact that medical aspirant students give this entrance exam for securing a seat from 66,000 MBBS and BDS seats in India.
Now, the plus point of this entrance exam is that it is also conducted in the regional language of the candidate as the earlier NEET exam was being conducted in English, Hindi, Gujrati, Bengali, and Tamil languages.

NEET UG Entrance Examination pattern
The question paper is divided into 180 questionnaire which includes 45 questions on Physics and Chemistry and the other 90 questions on the subject of Biology.
The pattern of assessment in NEET exam
In NEET pattern of examination is conducted for 3 hours which is 720 marks and for each correct answer 4 marks are awarded and for each incorrect response, a negative marking of -1 is done.
NEET Exam Syllabus
NEET-UG examination syllabus consists of questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from classes 11 and 12th higher secondary board examination. The Admit card download date is 13 Sept 2020.
