Women Empowerment Campaign “Aparajita” was organized at JB Institute of Technology, Dehradun on 31 st January 2019 with close collaboration with the leading Print Media Amar Ujala. The campaign was to express respect and belonging toward women. It’s highly disappointing to figure out the substantial amount of women atrocities prevailing in society even today. The campaign basically meant to abrogate such heinous and deplorable acts with the support and consideration from all sections of society.
Today’s woman on the other hand is truly a personification of “Maa Durga” defending against every ill coming to her. She is no more a helpless woman but an adamant warrior fighting against every challenge and hardship coming in her life. For this, an impinging awareness is required within the society to empower women with all attributes that could make them dependent and
complacent. Men are expected to show their esteem respect and honor for the women. The “Aparajita” campaign was propagated to have the aforesaid objectives fulfilled. During the campaign, a solemn pledge was taken by the faculties and students to save and appraise the dignity of women in all respects.
The entire campaign was filled with vibrant motivational feelings within all. Among the present dignitaries were Mr. L.D. Singhal – Honorable Chairman, Mr. Sandeep Singhal – Vice Chairman, Prof.(Dr.) Parul Goyal – Director, Dr. Vishant Kumar – Registrar. All Head of Departments, Teachers, and students were also present.
