Corona Virus Tracking App To Monitor Corona Infections

Corona time led us to follow an adequate level of protection, with safe hygiene practices, since country-wide lockdown, with proper hand sensitization and face masks balanced by medical PPE, for equal respiratory etiquette. Home quarantine self-Isolation and relevant treatment, led to the creation, of various containment zone, in the country sub-divided between earlier Green, Orange, and Red Zones in pre-lockdown temporary phases.

India, is one of the fastest-growing economies, as said by the Finance Minister during the pre-COVID-19 time, we were in the top 10 positions, in the rapid growth of the start-up ecosystem with most of the incubation innovation, originating in main Bangalore City. From Housing.com, Flipkart, Grofers, Myntra, and Big Basket, to Swiggy, Magicbricks, OLX, Ola, and Byju’s, the list is big and growing.

Technology and entrepreneurship, go hand-in-hand, to come up with something great, that instantly attracts the attention of the users. Various incubators, of innovative products, in the research and development lab, of niche tech companies, are an asset to the commercial market.

How can we leverage the full potential of tech platforms into slowing the tide of COVID-19?

As it is a sudden struggle, for Government to minimize, the effects of Corona on its citizens, since March of 2020, the government is fully active in organizing, everything from the best health medical system, and economic stability to protecting them with PDAs (Personal Digital Assistant).

This time ICMR is in rapid collaboration with scientists, big pharmacy companies, and government public sector units, working on an invaluable epidemiological database that can be deployed into COVID-19 Test kits, for optimum results.

Role of ICMR, BEL, and PSU in the creation of technology to fight the current crisis?

This is a miscellaneous work combination into augmenting technology upgrades of medical software, transfer of data files into software applications, and sharing of patient details, so that the pathways into developing, a fruitful vaccine can be achieved in the minimum possible time.

As per ICMR guidelines, the very first medical priority post-Unlock 1.0, is to implement comprehensive health measures via progressive COVID-19 tests, in order to constrain corona community transmission, which could probably trigger the third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Developing features and functionalities in high-end smartphones to combat transmission

The government has recently deployed, an effective “contact tracing app”, which was being developed through a collaboration of public-private partnerships. This app has the potential to track crowds. in real-time thus crowd-sourcing invaluable medical information from citizens.

The COVID-19 app namely, “Arogya setu app“, is full-fledged to trace contacts, thus preventing the spread of coronavirus. This helps citizens, to shun contact with the infected person, based on its database with operational Bluetooth that remains automatically, “on”, in this app.

The mobile app will notify alerts of suspects and patients, in the form of messages. Multiplying the efforts of health system capacity, this mobile app protects medical workers, from contracting the pandemic disease, through the transmission of airborne infections.

AIIMS BEL CSIR Combined collaborations in dispensing high-end healthcare services via coronavirus apps

Defense PSU BEL in collaboration with AIIMS Rishikesh developed, a healthcare system to remotely monitor Corona patients, minimizing direct transmission of airborne disease to healthcare workers. This system not only is applicable to functioning in the hospital but is capable of remotely monitoring the health of home quarantine nearby patients.

This is a proof of concept health model system, which is well integrated with network-centric IoT systems of remotely monitoring sensors, used in measuring respiration rate, temperature, saturated oxygen level, and pulse rate.

CSIR (Centre for Scientific and Industrial Research), is working in collaboration with BEL to bring up a portable Digital IR Thermometer and oxygen enrichment unit (OEU), invented by its National Chemical Laboratory in Pune. The benefits of a digital IR thermometer are significant in measuring Coronavirus outbreaks.

AIIMS initiative cloud data analytics software

AIIMS Rishikesh facilitated its citizens to enroll for health care services via their mobile phone app and web browser support, in case they have contracted symptoms of COVID-19.
Moreover on the basis of the primary complaints by patients a health monitoring kit will be provided to them.

A patient database will be created with all the critical health parameters with locations that will be uploaded, to a cloud-enabled Data Analytics Software command and control center. The medical facility will be notified, of the real-time updates of, “suspect”, and “patients” health records. The robust software eases the display of patients’ critical healthcare parameters record with GUI-based geographic mapping of the entire affected location.

The significance of vital RT-PCR mobile app in COVID-19

The app signifies the abbreviation, “reverse transcription, polymerase chain reaction” test which is the ultimate standard for the identification of active Covid-19 cases. This top-rated app to be used by approved labs across India had being launched by the government on April 30 and is intended to eradicate any health discrepancies that might occur while sharing COVID-19-related data.

This database +ve/-ve case is maintained by the government of India giving access, to authorized government officials via the mobile App on a dedicated portal https://covid19cc.nic.in to upload collected Rapid Antibody COVID-19 test data during sample collection done by persons of authorized collection center.
