CAT Exam 2020 Timeline
The craze for MBA gained more interest with the establishment of dedicated premises for MBA education like the IIMS institutes in India. The Postgraduates from IIM started a new trend of bagging offers from Multinational corporations with higher pay packages that amount to some 8 lac per annum CTC.
This was a relief to many millennials gaining this pay package after 5 to 6 years of relevant experience working in an organization. So all MBA aspirants carve IIM as their top priority in education and career.
Prior to the year 2009, the CAT exam pattern was OMR based test. From the year 2009 onward CAT exam is a complete computer-based online test.
It was the core management control of US Prometric to conduct this CAT computer online test from 2009 to 2013 but due to some vulnerability issues, the examination was started to be conducted by Indian Tech giant TCS from the year 2014 onward.

CAT Exam 2020 Syllabus Questions Pattern And Marking Scheme
The Online CAT exam is of three hours and is divided into three sections of CAT exam quantitative and aptitude. There are 100 questions combining each section
These three sections are again subdivided into
Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), 34 questions,
Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) 32 questions
and Quantitative Ability (QA). 34 questions
The marking scheme pattern in this online competitive exam is calculated on a score basis where candidates are given marks of +3 points for each correct answer and a mark of -1 point for each incorrect answer. In this way, a valid CAT score is handed over to successful candidates obtaining set standard criteria in the CAT exam evaluation scheme.

Minimum Eligibility Criteria To Appear For CAT Exam
CAT exam eligibility for student aspirants must have a bachelor’s degree from any of the Indian universities under UGC. There are around 2,31,000 CAT exam registration in the year 2017 which is on a hiking year by year.
