JBIT Celebrated the 9th National Voters’ Day

JBIT celebrated the 9th National Voters’ Day today for the enhanced participation of JBITians in the electoral process.

All Principals, Registrar, Deans, Heads of Department, Faculty Members, Staff Members & Students of JBIT attended the National Voters’ Day celebration.

Director of JB Institute of Technology Prof. (Dr.) Parul Goyal emphasized the importance of voting and highlighted that every vote counts and the youth vote can sway the election. He encouraged young voters to take part in the political election process. In view of the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections, No Voter to be Left Behind has been selected as the theme for National Voters’ Day.

The National Voters’ Day is celebrated all over the country on January 25 every year to mark the foundation day of the Election Commission of
India, which was established on 25th January 1950.

The main purpose of the celebration is to encourage, facilitate and maximize enrollment, especially for the new voters.

In the end, all took a pledge that they will cast their vote
