Personality Assessment

JB Institute of Technology testifies the overall development and impeccable grooming of its students throughout the course. Institute promotes and encourages its students to prove their mettle in every domain. Keeping the same context in contemplation, Management (BBA) Department conducted a highly productive and informative workshop on “Personality Assessment” for the students on 14th February 2019. Mr. Pramod Vashistha welcomed the guests and informed the students about the importance of personality assessment in today’s corporate world. The workshop was carried by Mr. Sumon Dutta from Origin Assessments Ltd. Mr. Sumon holds rich experience in corporate training and development of employees personality. He also possesses a wide exposure in psychoanalytic. On the outset, he explained the expatiate relevance of assessment of individual personalities in the contemporary socio-economical era. He also made the students aware of the outcomes of psychometric tests. According to him, These result oriented tests help the students in :
• Scanning the rational and reasoning aptitude that further helps in justifying their outlook and perceptions.
• Sharpening the cognitive thought process that helps in developing decision-making ability.
• Converging SWOT Analysis that helps in identifying their strengths and weaknesses and correspondingly working on the same.
• Choosing the appropriate career option according to their interest area.
• Clarifying various doubts and speculations regarding undefined situations and thereby providing complete solutions to the queries.
• Bridging the gap between acquired perceptions and the actual state of mind.
• Encapsulating valuable information along with fun and enthusiasm that firmly removes the debility and unwanted anxiety in students.
• Boosting the confidence level at the utmost level.
• Becoming more impressive and impactful.
• Transforming more innovative and creative.
• Building team spirit and leadership qualities.
• Brushing communication skills to the optimum.
• Becoming the students “SMART” – Skilled, Meaningful, Articulate, Reliable, Trustful.
He arranged various interactive and interesting games for the students in which they displayed their intellect and humor to their best. They learned to build the feeling of team spirit and coordination. Lastly, the students participated in Online Assessment Test and tracked the features of their personality. The workshop proved to be highly productive, innovative and informative to the students. Among the present dignitaries were Prof.(Dr.) Parul Goyal – Director, Dr. Vishant Kumar – Registrar, Dr. S.S. Rawat – Head of BBA Department, Mr. Dheeraj Aggarwal – Principal (Polytechnic), All Head of Departments, Faculties and students were also present.
