It is a 3 years long Undergraduate Level Bachelor’s Degree program. Like all B.Sc. courses, this one too has the semester system of learning. The 3 years’ duration is divided into 6 semesters, with each semester lasting a period of 6 months.
During each semester, students will have to face separate sets of theoretical subjects as well as lab practical sessions associated with those subjects.
B.Sc. Horticulture program is all about cultivation of plants, starting from seed related study to scientific study of cultivation, genetics of plants, plant diseases etc. In short, it is all about the application of scientific knowledge in plant cultivation and thus increase productivity and yield!
